Located at the main entrance of the University of Central Florida campus, the Morgridge International Reading Center is a 16,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to advancing literacy education and research on a global scale. The center hosts national & international conferences, traveling exhibits, and collaborative programs focused on reading and education innovation.

SDC provided full-site development services for the project, including site clearing, underground utilities, grading, drainage & paving. The project was managed by Wharton-Smith and achieved LEED Gold Certification, incorporating sustainable design & construction strategies that align with UCF’s commitment to environmental responsibility and educational excellence.
