The Osceola County Project is in conjunction with (Federal-Aid Funded – LAP FM# 437474-1-58-01) consisted of the construction of 7.27 miles of a 10-foot wide multi-use trail. The trail extended along Fortune Road/East Lakeshore Boulevard from the intersection of US 192 and at the existing City of St. Cloud Lakefront Regionally Significant Trail, near the intersection at East Lakeshore Boulevard and Columbia Avenue.

Improvements included

• 14,000 lf of storm drainage
• 49,000 sy of new asphalt trail construction
• removal of existing sidewalk
• a 1,800 sf prefabricated pedestrian bridge over the Saint Cloud Canal
• slope improvements
• 5,000 lf of gravity walls with handrail
• 2,500 sy of concrete driveway replacement
• signal improvementto ensure safety of multiple users & connectivity to a more extensive pedestrian network
